Business
Continuation Service (BCS):
The Miller Group works with your company to create a Business
Continuation Plan (PLAN) to be used in the event of a disaster.
A disaster can happen at any time and range in degree, from a
seemingly shortphone service or power failure to a regional
earthquake.
We work with
your company to ask the proven questions to query about your
business and operations and create a PLAN around your specific
business to ensure your business continues (recovers) in the
event of a disaster. The planning process usually takes between
2 to 4 months and ownership of the process is shared by both
your company and The Miller Group. Shared ownership provides for
greater success, as we know your business has busy times and
during those times we assist in keeping the process moving
forward.
The proven
template we provide is a large step in having a PLAN in place,
after just a few hours of effort by your planning team.
Our BCS
does not end at the completion of the PLAN. We know that every
business changes and the PLAN needs to be dynamic. We provide
review services that schedule your business to revisit the PLAN
with frequency.
The PLAN is
only a part of our BCS. BCS is a full support service that
incorporates data redundancy in our St. Louis or Springfield,
MO, Data Centers. The duplication of your data can range from
each month to immediate redundancy via bit level data
duplication. We have clients that have existing data redundancy
solutions and use BCS for the PLAN that we partner with existing
solutions and other companies that use either one or both of our
Data Centers to ensure they have quick access to their data so
their disaster recovery is minimized and they can continue
business operations as normal.
The costs
associated with creating your PLAN is nominal compared to even a
one-day disaster where your clients cannot contact you and/or
your employees cannot work. The monthly reoccurring costs to
host and maintain your redundant data on a dedicated server are
less than most companies are charged for Internet connectivity.
You CANNOT afford not to have a PLAN in place and your data
located somewhere besides your business location.
Please
email or call to discuss your business continuation plan and how
we can help ensure you can continue business operations in the
event of a disaster.
