Recycle Your Old Technology Through The Miller Group!
Electronic waste (e-waste) is increasing dramatically each year as people discard computers, printers, cell phones and other electronic appliances. Many of these items may contain toxic mercury, lead or cadmium that can contaminate the soil, water, even the air, and lead to increased health risks. Every American generates an astonishing 16 pounds of e-waste a year.
As an additional service to our clients, The Miller Group wants to contribute to the Green Movement. Here’s how:
First, you may drop off your e-waste at The Miller Group any time, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30. Second, if one of our technicians is at your company on a service call, he can pick up your e-waste. Finally, The Miller Group can pick up your e-waste on the first Friday of each month for the cost of a Travel Charge. (Travel Charges vary by zip code, and range from $35 to $55). You will receive a signed receipt listing items collected, items identified to destroy, and an invoice will be mailed for your asset, accounting, or inventory records.
And finally, the security of your data is important to us. For a modest $10 fee, The Miller Group will destroy the data on your hard drive and then physically destroy the drive itself.
